Supreme Court Decision Stops Blatant Religious Discrimination
Missouri launched an initiative in 2012 to encourage schools to use recycled tires to produce safer playground surfaces. A preschool run by the Trinity Lutheran Church sued when it was denied a state grant to participate in the program.
The Supreme Court Decision on June 26, 2017, stops blatant religious discrimination and is a landmark victory for religious freedom.
Had the decision been otherwise, the road would have been paved for numerous irrational attacks on religious institutions. Fortunately, our nation’s first liberty remains safeguarded.
