College Student Blessed After He Walks 20 Miles to First Day of Work

Jul 18, 2018 | Feel Good

A young Birmingham college student, Walter Carr, didn’t let a broken down car keep him from getting to work.  He left seven-plus hours before his shift to walk the 20 miles to be on time for his first day of work.

When the CEO of the company found out, he was so impressed he gave the young man his personal car!  What did Walter do?  He used the opportunity to put God in the spotlight.  He told the media, “I want to thank God because without Him I wouldn’t be here. God blessed me to be a blessing. Whatever challenges God puts in front of me, I know it’s for a reason.”
