Look at This: Black Women Urged to Get Abortions on Billboard
A liberal billboard that went up recently along a Dallas, Texas highway is spurring a debate over whether it’s not only tone deaf but racist toward black women, Update America shared this week. The billboard reads: “Black women take care of their families by taking care of themselves. Abortion is self-care.”
It sparked a strong reaction from black conservative radio commentator Stacy Washington, who wrote on Twitter, “WOWW. So for BLACK women, killing our offspring is like a day at the spa. They don’t market this way to any other group. @PlannedParenthood still operating on behalf of Margaret Sanger.”

“Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, once said colored people are like weeds; they need to be exterminated,” Dr. Alveda King once told CBN News.
The billboard is paid for by The Afiya Center, a north Dallas organization, which states that one of their goals is to “ensure access to abortion and the support all Texas families need to thrive,” according to their website. The center partners with Planned Parenthood of Great Texas.
Former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson, who is now a pro-life advocate, wrote on Facebook, “The abortion war against black women is so real.”

CBN pointed out that black people “make up only 13 percent of the US population, yet more than 30 percent of aborted babies are from black mothers.”
