Every time I am faced with those tough decisions in life, invariably I go to the Lord in prayer.; not just once, but often. I will pray several times a day and sometimes for days, weeks and even months. I wish the Lord would allow me to meet with him every morning and just say, “OK Bob this is what I want you to do today”…
The Louisiana House of Representatives passed 79-23, a “heartbeat bill” on Wednesday that will prohibit abortions after an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable in the womb, which is usually as early as six weeks of pregnancy, a press release by the Liberty Counsel reported…
I have an acquaintance who not that long ago started a ministry and the Lord is blessing it. He has worked hard and devoted significant amounts of his resources to it and is to be congratulated. The problem as I see it is that he never gives the Lord any credit for the ministry’s accomplishments at least to me. It sounds like he is warming up to do a concert – Mi-mi-mi – whenever he discusses “his” ministry. It is all about him and hissacrifice, his brilliance, his ingenuity, his business skillset, his resources, blah blah blah
Various lists of the Seven Wonders of the World have been compiled from ancient times to the present day, to catalogue the world’s most spectacular natural wonders and manmade structures. The original list of the seven wonders of the world has changed many times throughout the centuries. The list as of 2018 is as follows . . .
A miraculous story is coming out of northern Florida this week after what could have been a tragedy ended up in a miracle. According to CBS affiliate WBNS, two teenagers — a boy and a girl — recently found themselves in a life or death situation when they were swimming off the coast of Vilano Beach near St. Augustine and a riptide pulled them out to sea.
A good friend of mind and my former Sunday school teacher came by Honey Lake for a visit the other day and after lunch we went down to Honey Lake Church. There in the reverent tranquility and quiet beauty of that beautiful sanctuary we discussed various topics and I brought up the number one question that I desire to ask God when I die and get to heaven.
What an incredible story of the evil cruelties of abortion and the redemptive power of our Lord Jesus. This young lady had every right to be bitter and angry after surviving attempted murder on her life and Satan almost succeeded in destroying her anyway; however, read what she said: “I didn’t stay angry for long because, truly, there’s just not anything for me to be angry about. I’m alive, I’m well, and I’m blessed.”

Iverson is accused of sharing hundreds of pictures and videos of children being sexually abused, KNXV reported. The children’s ages ranged from babies to teenagers.
I wonder what was going through the mind of Jesus a little over 2000 years ago during this week leading up to His crucifixion. Like seeing a hurricane bearing down on us with fury He knew what would strike in mere days. Nothing can compare with the evil that would rip Him apart as He took on the sins of the world. And yet He took it all in stride.
Yesterday I related that I was in a rut and many responded and most indicated that they too were in a rut. It was refreshing to hear that I was not the only one, once again proving the old adage that misery loves company. Perhaps the best response received for the day was this excerpt: “Ah yes Bob, ruts and change are part of this life we all have to deal with. Most don’t put their finger on it like you have. I will pray with Judith for God’s direction for you and your powerful ministry. We know the saints of old had theirs. Mother Teresa had a terrible time of questioning God and her ministry, those were very dark days for her I read. If it can happen to Mother Teresa . . . well guess what – Was there ever a more Godly women?”
At around 7:00 a.m. CST yesterday morning, Shanghai’s public security department rounded up the Christians, who are all affiliated with the company I WILL and detained them for their beliefs and church activities. A pastor named Michael Yu, who holds both Taiwanese and American citizenship, was among those who were taken into custody.
