“Sweet On” SWLA
February 6, 2021

Fifteen Churches, four organizations, and 113 volunteers came together to serve on Saturday, February 6th. The day encompassed home repair, distribution of much needed items, and the serving of hot meals. The Jesus Alliance was on the ground at one of the two distribution sites to support their efforts with the handing out of care packages and providing prayer. Through our partner network, we were able to resource Bombas socks, paper goods, cleaning supplies, bedding, pillows, and a wonderful cooking team who served hot meals.

Honduras Recovery

One of our partners approached us in November to help them help the people of Honduras, who were devastated by back-to-back hurricanes in the San Pedro Sula region. He had a connection with a church in the region, so we asked our following to help by making donations so that the local church there could purchase the items most needed.

Served 50,000 meals

Served 15,000 meals and organized the delivery of over 790,000 pounds of food items

Organized and distributed 300+ tons of non-perishable food and water

Coordinated the distribution of five truckloads (over 200,000) bottles of water, juices, and Vitamin Water

Served the needs of persecuted churches in 9 countries

Distributed 1000+ copies of the gospel of John donated by the Pocket Testament League

Served the needs of persecuted churches in 9 countries

Supported 500+ families in the US and abroad after natural disasters and during the pandemic
